- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 – $1,800
- Position: Travel PCU RN / IMC RN (Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse)
- Location: Baltimore, MD 21218 — Baltimore nursing jobs, Maryland travel nursing
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 5, 2026 – August 4, 2026)
- Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:30)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics (PCU/Telemetry)
- Unit: IMC/PCU (Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit)
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC RN experience (progressive care, telemetry, or step-down preferred)
- Travel nursing experience required — previous travel RN assignments preferred
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact RN license accepted)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS required
- CPI certification preferred
- Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam (minimum 80% overall; 100% on lethal rhythms)
- Experience with Cerner electronic charting preferred
- Two (2) supervisor references required
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Progressive Care Unit/IMC setting
- Monitor and manage cardiac and respiratory conditions, including telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Perform clinical duties involving high flow nasal cannula, wound care/wound vac, isolation precautions and PPE
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, PT, RT, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
- Float within unit guidelines and cover shifts as needed, including every third weekend
- Complete facility and unit-specific orientation modules within one week of contract start
