Join a dedicated healthcare team in Walla Walla, Washington, as an RN House Supervisor for a 13-week travel nursing contract. Lead and support nursing staff across all units at a Short Term Acute Care facility and Level III Trauma Center. Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500 (competitive travel RN pay)
- Location: Walla Walla, WA 99362 — Walla Walla healthcare / Washington nursing jobs
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/18/2026 – End: 8/17/2026)
- Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
- Schedule: 6 days on, 8 days off; weekends required every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Orientation: 40 hours
- EMR / Charting: Epic (Epic EMR experience required)
- Scrub Color: Any color
- Parking: Free
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington (WA) or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- BLS and PALS certification (current)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience; charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred (travel RN)
- Experience with Epic EMR/charting required
- Community hospital and Trauma Level II/III experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last three years
- Willingness to float within the facility as needed
Key Responsibilities (Nursing Leadership)
- Provide clinical leadership and supervise nursing care across all units during night shift
- Coordinate facility/bed diversion, admissions, and patient flow to maximize throughput
- Manage and dispatch rapid response teams; oversee crisis intervention and code management
- Monitor and report sentinel events, discharges AMA, and new admissions to leadership
- Oversee post-surgery and post-procedure care and transfers to higher level care
- Ensure infection control, isolation procedures, and workplace safety protocols are followed
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (DPH, TJC, OSHA, etc.) and facility policies
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff; support staff development and performance
