Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Tucson, AZ | 13-week contract | ARRT required. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,670
• Location: Tucson, AZ 85741 — Tucson cath lab jobs / Arizona healthcare
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM), 4 shifts per week
• On Call: 9-10 shifts/month and 1 weekend
• Setting: Hospital - Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Active ARRT (R) certification required — RCIS not accepted
• Proficiency in sterile technique and scrubbing for cath lab procedures (angiogram, PCI, CTO, L main, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy, IR/peripheral cases)
• STEMI response/coverage experience
• Experience operating and monitoring Impella and IABP devices
• Structural heart experience preferred but not required
• Comfort recording procedures using MacLab (training available if needed)
• Knowledge of cath lab products, supply restocking, and inventory maintenance
• Facility-compliant solid color scrub attire

Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor during invasive radiological and interventional cardiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control practices throughout procedures
• Assist with angiograms, PCI, device implants, PE thrombectomy, IR and peripheral interventions
• Provide reliable STEMI coverage and rapid response support
• Operate, troubleshoot, and monitor Impella and IABP devices during procedures
• Record procedural data and hemodynamics using the MacLab system
• Restock procedure rooms, manage supplies, and support inventory control
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
