13-week travel nursing opportunity for a Med/Surg Registered Nurse in Santa Fe, New Mexico (87505) — nights, EPIC charting, New Mexico RN or Compact license required.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,940
• Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505 — travel nursing job in Santa Fe, New Mexico
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 12, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — Travel Nurse Night Shift
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site hospital assignment (Med/Surg RN)
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC — experience with EPIC EMR preferred

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state RN license accepted (must be eligible to work in New Mexico)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience — travel nursing experience a plus
• Current clinical knowledge and skills appropriate to the Med/Surg patient population

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement safe, efficient patient care tailored to the unit's age and acuity
• Provide high-quality Med/Surg nursing care consistent with unit standards and hospital policies
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC EMR
• Adapt to floating requirements across patient care areas as needed
• Manage an expected nurse/patient ratio of 1:6
• Respond professionally to emergency and crisis situations, following hospital protocols
• Demonstrate physical ability for patient positioning, equipment handling, and mobility tasks
