Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required (social work, counseling, psychology, or related field preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant pediatric psychiatric experience (child & adolescent mental health required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
• Experience working with pediatric patient populations in inpatient or outpatient psychiatric settings

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with children and adolescents in a pediatric psychiatric clinic
• Facilitate individual and group therapeutic interventions that support patient treatment goals
• Create, implement, and document treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in accordance with clinical policies
• Maintain a therapeutic, safe environment on the unit and participate in crisis prevention and intervention as needed
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care
• Participate in required weekend shifts and rotate per unit scheduling needs
