Minimum Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent mammography technologist / Mammography Rad Tech experience
• Travel experience required (unit does not accept first-time travelers)
• ARRT (Mammography) certification required
• Current BLS / CPR certification
• At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience (documentation and imaging workflows)
• Ultrasound experience requested (breast ultrasound a plus)
• Compliance with mammography training and CEU requirements:
  • 40-hour initial mammography training
  • 8-hour digital mammography training
  • 8-hour tomosynthesis training
  • 15 mammography CEUs within the last 3 years
  • Performed at least 200 mammograms in the last 2 years
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 3D tomosynthesis, diagnostic, digital, and screening mammography procedures using GE mammography equipment
• Assist with image-guided procedures including fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care to adult outpatient populations seeking breast imaging services
• Document procedures, findings, and patient information accurately in EPIC EMR to support clinical workflows and reporting
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, QA, and continuing education requirements for mammography technologists
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary radiology teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Float to other qualified units as needed based on census and clinic needs
