Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 – $1,730 (travel nurse pay)
• Location: Wilson, NC 27893 — Eastern North Carolina / near Raleigh
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Unit / Specialty: Emergency Department (ER Nurse) — 26 beds
• Patient Ratios: 1:4–5 (flexible based on acuity)
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience — ER Nurse or Emergency Room Registered Nurse preferred
• Active RN license (must be valid for North Carolina or eligible for state licensure)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS; PALS and NIHSS preferred
• Meditech EHR experience preferred
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and high engagement in patient care
• Must be located at least 60 miles from Wilson, NC to qualify for this travel nurse assignment

Responsibilities — Emergency Department RN / ER Nurse

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED environment
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with acute conditions including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis needs, and hypertensive emergencies
• Utilize GE monitors and standard ED equipment for cardiac and clinical monitoring
• Provide critical care interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Meditech EHR
• Float to like assignments within the facility as needed and adhere to hospital policies and dress code (scrub color: any)
