Hospital Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel contract in Lander, WY. 13-week role (April 19 – July 18, 2026) for experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists with NBRC RRT and Wyoming RT license. Nights (12-hour) travel respiratory therapist opportunity in a hospital setting servicing Lander and Riverton campuses.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,970

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent hospital experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) — strong critical care and med/surg background preferred
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (attach to resume)
• Valid Wyoming Respiratory Therapist (RT) license (attach to resume)
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (attach to candidate submission)
• Experience providing pediatric and OB patient respiratory care
• Ability to float between Lander and Riverton campuses as needed — reliable transportation recommended

Responsibilities — Respiratory Therapist Duties

• Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary services to inpatients and outpatients (ventilator management, airway maintenance)
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations and arterial line insertions
• Administer medicated aerosols and respiratory treatments using medical compressed gas
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation and weaning protocols
• Perform pulmonary function studies, cardiac/pulmonary stress testing, and blood gas analysis
• Follow department protocols and medical staff-approved policies for respiratory care
• Document treatments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
