Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Dallas, TX | 13-week contract. Require 1+ year Cath Lab experience, active RN license, ACLS/BLS. As a Cath Lab RN / Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, you'll play a vital role in advanced interventional cardiology procedures, working with interdisciplinary teams in a modern facility. Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
- Location: Dallas, TX 75203 (Dallas healthcare jobs, Texas nursing jobs)
- Travel Role: 13-week travel contract (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
- Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 – 17:30), Monday – Friday
- On Call: Required (participate in on-call rotation)
- Orientation: 10-24 hours
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN / Cardiac Cath Lab experience (diagnostic and interventional)
- Active Registered Nurse license (Texas license or multistate compact RN license)
- ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA preferred; military acceptable)
- Experience with Epic charting system required
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Ability to complete required online modules pre-start and during orientation
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures as a Cath Lab RN / cardiovascular RN
- Monitor patients during procedures, administer medications, and manage conscious sedation
- Perform sheath removal, vascular closure, and post-procedure monitoring and discharge assessments
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG, and assist with cardioversion
- Collaborate closely with IV teams, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other support staff
- Maintain infection prevention standards, isolation precautions, and patient safety protocols
- Participate in on-call rotation and cross-disciplinary communications to support patient flow
