Job Details

Minimum Qualifications / Certifications
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required — experience in trauma Level I or II settings preferred
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Texas Radiology License in hand
- BLS (AHA preferred; military acceptable)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record/charting system
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures: gastrostomy, internal/external biliary drainage, nephrostomy, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram (PTC), TIPS, embolization, stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, endovascular interventions, angiography (upper/lower extremity), and central venous access (non-tunneled/PICC)
- Care and maintenance of PICC lines and central venous lines; assist with line placement and post-procedure monitoring
- Operate and maintain IR imaging equipment (Siemens) and PACS systems; ensure image quality and appropriate documentation
- Apply isolation precautions and appropriate PPE; follow infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, anesthesiology) to ensure optimal patient outcomes in interventional radiology
- Provide efficient Epic charting and accurate procedure documentation per hospital standards
