Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS) – 13-week travel assignment in Aberdeen, WA. Hospital & imaging center role for diagnostic sonographers providing vascular and general sonography services in the Pacific Northwest.

Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,430
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: May 4, 2026
  • End Date: August 3, 2026
  • Shift: Day shift (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM), 10-hour shifts
  • Hours per Week: 40 hours (guaranteed)
  • Schedule: Varying days, Sunday to Saturday, with rotating call
  • Setting: Hospital & Imaging Center
  • Location: Aberdeen, WA 98520 (Aberdeen, Washington; travel ultrasound job in the Pacific Northwest)

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
  • Professional credential required: ARDMS certification, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Vascular knowledge required: able to perform upper and lower extremity DVT studies and carotid ultrasound
  • Experience with general abdominal, OB, and small parts sonography
  • Ability to work a rotating call schedule
  • Diagnostic Imaging certification required; experience with PACS/EMR preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality general abdominal, OB, and small parts ultrasound studies
  • Conduct comprehensive vascular studies including upper/lower extremity DVT and carotid ultrasounds
  • Provide diagnostic imaging services across hospital and imaging center settings
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely patient care
  • Participate in a rotating call schedule and respond to urgent imaging needs as required
  • Maintain professional standards, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure infection control
  • Document and archive studies accurately in PACS/EMR; ensure image quality and correct patient identifiers
