Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,030 (Travel Nurse pay)
- Location: Aberdeen, WA 98520 – Gateway to PNW beaches, Olympic National Forest and Grays Harbor (Washington travel nurse)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
- Shift: 12 Hour Days (06:45 – 19:15)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Schedule: Every other weekend off; opportunity to pick up extra shifts
- Type: Travel, On-Site (medical-surgical nursing, acute care)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience in acute care or medical-surgical settings
- Current Washington State RN license or Multi-State (Compact) RN license
- Completion of approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
- Verification of demographics from Nursys
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with medication administration, IV therapy, patient assessments and documentation
- Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required
- Ability to float to other departments in rotation; flexible and team-oriented
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients in an acute care hospital
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, document interventions and outcomes accurately
- Administer medications, IVs and other treatments safely according to policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, therapists and ancillary staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in department rotations and float to other units as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Support a positive, patient-centered and team-focused work environment
