Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,030 (Travel Nurse pay)
• Location: Aberdeen, WA 98520 – Gateway to PNW beaches, Olympic National Forest and Grays Harbor (Washington travel nurse)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (06:45 – 19:15)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Schedule: Every other weekend off; opportunity to pick up extra shifts
• Type: Travel, On-Site (medical-surgical nursing, acute care)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience in acute care or medical-surgical settings
• Current Washington State RN license or Multi-State (Compact) RN license
• Completion of approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
• Verification of demographics from Nursys
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with medication administration, IV therapy, patient assessments and documentation
• Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required
• Ability to float to other departments in rotation; flexible and team-oriented
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients in an acute care hospital
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, document interventions and outcomes accurately
• Administer medications, IVs and other treatments safely according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, therapists and ancillary staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in department rotations and float to other units as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Support a positive, patient-centered and team-focused work environment
