• Unit: Emergency Department (12 beds) — ED/ER
• Patient Ratio: 1:4–6
• Dress Code: Any solid color scrubs

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN (ER RN / ED RN) experience
• Active RN license (Missouri license or multistate/compact RN license accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Strong critical thinking, triage skills, and leadership in fast-paced ED settings
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varied scheduling — travel nurse flexibility

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of acute and critical patients
• Use clinical judgment and critical thinking to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care
• Maintain and update clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
• Delegate and supervise patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, paramedics, techs, and support staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
