Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract in Berlin, New Hampshire. 13-week hospital assignment; 3x12 night shifts; ventilator/critical care experience required. Join a collaborative respiratory therapy team and support acute care patients in the scenic White Mountains region.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810 – $1,940
• Location: Berlin, NH 03570 — New Hampshire respiratory therapist jobs / travel respiratory therapist
• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit (Emergency Department, inpatient care, transport)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: 3x12 Hour Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM), 36 hours/week
• Dress Code: Scrubs (any color), closed-toe shoes, no denim, no perfume or cologne

Job Requirements (Registered Respiratory Therapist / RRT)

• Minimum 3 years of current acute care experience; critical care and ventilator management experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel respiratory therapist experience highly preferred
• High proficiency with ventilators, humidified hand-held nebulizers (HHN), BiPAP, and CPAP
• Experience with mechanical ventilation, weaning protocols, and ABG interpretation
• Active NBRC credential (RRT)
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• New Hampshire RCP licensure required (temporary licensure accepted; must be willing to apply at time of offer)
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
• Completed Respiratory Therapist skills checklist
• All licenses and certifications must be current at time of submission; include permanent address in submission file

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services for patients in the Emergency Department, inpatient units, and during transport to tertiary care centers
• Manage ventilator settings and conduct ventilator management and weaning per protocol
• Administer and monitor HHN, BiPAP, CPAP, and other noninvasive ventilation therapies
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and implement appropriate interventions
• Maintain therapist/patient ratio of approximately 1:5 or 1:6 while ensuring high-quality care
• Assist with patient transport and provide respiratory support during interfacility transfers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, transport staff) to deliver safe, effective care
• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and dress code requirements
