ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current ICU / Critical Care RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• BSN highly preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (or Compact RN with NH privileges, if applicable)
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Skills checklist for Intensive Care/ICU or Critical Care completed
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
• All licenses and certifications must be current at time of submission
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility (no locals)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU as a Critical Care RN
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform critical interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical changes
• Float to Med/Surg unit when required and support staffing needs
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety protocols
• Engage in ongoing professional development and unit-based training for ICU and travel nurse competencies
