LPN Job Details – Travel Long Term Care – Utica, NY

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,400 – $1,470
• Setting: Long Term Care (40-bed unit) – LTC nursing job
• Location: Utica, NY (13502) — Mohawk Valley / Central New York
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour evening shifts (2:30pm – 10:30pm), every other weekend required
• Hours: 37.5 guaranteed hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse
• Float Requirement: Must float to all units within the same building

LPN Job Requirements

• Active LPN license in New York State (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA
• Minimum 1 year of LPN clinical experience; long-term care / LTC experience preferred
• Available for evening shifts and every other weekend
• Comfortable floating to all units within the facility
• Experience with PointClickCare EMR preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting, including dementia/memory care, MS, and orthopedic populations
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accurately in PointClickCare EMR
• Monitor resident status, report changes, and support care plan implementation
• Assist with ADLs, wound care, vitals, and routine nursing procedures common in LTC
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Float between units as needed to support patient/resident care and staffing needs
• Maintain a safe, supportive and regulatory-compliant environment for residents
