- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040 - $2,150 (competitive travel nurse pay)

- Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC), Night Shift
- Assignment Duration: 8-13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (night shift RN)
- Hours per Week: 36 or 48 hours

Job Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of bedside critical care clinical experience (critical care RN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Ability to supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and orientees
Responsibilities
- Maintain delivery of quality, patient-centered care by following the nursing care plan
- Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and document findings
- Develop individualized plans of care and identify patient teaching needs and goals
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses (electronic charting)
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct patient care using the nursing process
- Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission to support recovery
- Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to support continuity and patient safety
- Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel and support staff
- Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control practices
- Contribute positively to the unit environment and participate in team-building activities
- Assume charge responsibility as requested after orientation
- Prioritize activities for effective use of time and staff in meeting patient needs
- Identify and pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-study (ongoing career development for RNs)
