Job Requirements (Qualifications)

• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist / Rad Tech experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
• Active Illinois state license required at time of application
• BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross only)
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred; PACS proficiency preferred
• Previous charge role and community hospital experience preferred
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during contract
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging for outpatient urgent care patients across all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Conduct imaging studies including abdomen, chest, upper airway, facial bones, orbits, paranasal sinuses, skull, joints, extremities, spine, pelvis, and trauma imaging
• Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles for patient and staff protection
• Adhere to infection prevention, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols
• Document exams accurately using PACS and Cerner charting systems
• Participate in on-call rotation and required orientation/modules prior to start
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary radiology and clinical teams to deliver excellent patient care
