• Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (Night Shift RN)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed

• Unit: Med-Surg / PCU (Progressive Care/Telemetry, Adult)

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Washington State
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg and PCU (progressive care/telemetry) experience
• Ability to flex between departments (Med-Surg, PCU, Telemetry) as needed
• Strong knowledge of infection control and isolation procedures
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in Med/Surg and PCU units, including telemetry monitoring
• Identify patient and family education needs and deliver education using appropriate modalities
• Ensure patient safety through preventative measures and adherence to restraint policies
• Operate and troubleshoot essential equipment in PCU/Telemetry/Med-Surg areas
• Implement infection control and isolation procedures with proper documentation
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation of patient status, interventions, and responses
• Complete and document physician orders in a timely manner
• Give thorough change-of-shift reports and communicate effectively with other departments
• Report critical lab values to physicians according to policy
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, rooms, and general supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned
