- Position: Radiology Technologist / Rad Tech (Travel)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 – $2,010
- Location: Leading hospital in Madison, WI — Madison, WI travel radiology jobs
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour nights (15:30 – 03:30), rotating schedule
- Employment Type: Travel, On-Site

- Standby Call & Holiday Rotations: Required
- Parking: Permit required; alternative transportation options available
Radiology Technologist Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care radiology experience (Level II trauma required; Level I trauma preferred)
- ARRT-R certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Epic charting system experience; familiarity with PACS/archiving systems preferred
- Ability to float between units and multiple locations within the organization
- Traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Telemetry exam required prior to start (strict passing criteria)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of imaging exams (radiography) for adults, geriatrics, adolescents, pediatrics, and neonates using advanced radiographic equipment
- Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance, participate in quality assurance (QA) activities, and resolve image processing/archiving issues
- Make fast, technically informed decisions to accommodate patient physical restrictions and complex pathology
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required, following facility protocols and radiation safety guidelines
- Participate in standby call and holiday rotations as scheduled
- Float to multiple units and locations within the hospital system as needed
- Maintain infection prevention practices and adhere to isolation precautions
- Ensure radiation safety compliance and maintain accurate documentation in Epic and PACS
