• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,820 - $2,970
• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel
• Location: Edgewood, KY 41017 (Northern Kentucky, near Cincinnati, OH)
• Contract Duration: 4 weeks (May 24, 2026 – June 21, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 4 x 10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: 1-2 nights per week
• Weekend Coverage: Every 4th weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• Employment Type: Travel nursing job

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiology setting
• Valid KY RN license or a compact RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic electronic health record (EPIC EHR) charting experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• At least 2 supervisor references
• Ability to float within scope as needed; strong teamwork and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures
• Assist the interventional cardiology team with procedure setup, sterile field maintenance, and cath lab equipment
• Monitor patient hemodynamics, administer medications/contrast agents, and respond to emergencies during procedures
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled weekend coverage
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (cardiology, anesthesia, radiology) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Complete required orientation modules and ongoing training to maintain competency in cath lab procedures and safety
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control, and regulatory standards
