Med/Surg RN Requirements

• Active RN license (we will review clinicians with pending state license)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the medical-surgical (Med/Surg) unit as a Travel RN
• Perform patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and document findings in the facility's EMR system
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring medication safety and accurate charting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes
• Float to other units as needed to support hospital operations and provide clinical support
