Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,820
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)
- Position: Travel Occupational Therapist / Rehab OT
- Setting: Acute rehab, med-surg, and outpatient units
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
- Weekend Rotation: Saturday coverage as scheduled
- Dress Code: Scrubs (any color) or business casual; closed-toe shoes required
- EMR: Meditech (IP/ARU) and Net Health (OP)

Job Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT) — rehab OT experience preferred
- Ability to float between acute rehab and med-surg units and support outpatient caseloads
- Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
- Comfortable with weekend rotation and flexible scheduling
- Proficiency with Meditech and Net Health EMR systems for occupational therapy documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in acute rehab, med-surg, and outpatient settings
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, SLP, nursing, case management) to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Document patient progress and outcomes using Meditech and Net Health EMR systems
- Participate in weekend rotation and float as needed between units
- Maintain professional standards, safety, and facility dress code
