Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240 - $2,400

• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• ARRT(M) certification required (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, MRI)
• At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience (first-time travel technologists welcome)
• Valid BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Proficiency with Siemens 1.5 Tesla MRI systems (Siemens 1.5T experience required)
• Experience performing MRI-guided biopsies and breast MRI/breast biopsies
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR for imaging documentation and patient records
• Strong attention to detail, independent workflow, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of MRI safety and patient screening protocols (no cardiac pacemaker scanning required)

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans across modalities including ortho, neuro, body/GI, and breast MRI
• Conduct MRI-guided biopsies and breast biopsy procedures with attention to sterile technique and patient comfort
• Screen patients for implants/devices and review contraindications per MRI safety protocols
• Administer and document contrast studies when indicated, following facility policies
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs in EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with radiologists, lead techs, and radiology assistants to deliver high-quality imaging services
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and comfort throughout procedures
• Participate in a one-day facility and unit orientation and adhere to hospital protocols
