Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
- Location: Scottsbluff, NE (Zip: 69361) — Nebraska oncology jobs / Scottsbluff nursing jobs
- Setting: Oncology Unit (chemotherapy / infusion clinic)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year recent experience as an Oncology RN or chemotherapy nurse
- Active RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ONS or ANCC Oncology Nursing Certification preferred
- Strong communication, clinical assessment, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate oncology nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and supportive treatments
- Administer chemotherapy and biologic agents following facility protocols and safety standards (infusion nursing)
- Utilize the acuity scale for staffing decisions and patient assessment
- Collaborate closely with oncology providers, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Monitor patient responses to treatment, manage side effects, and adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, medication administration records, and uphold high standards of patient safety and infection control
