Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,740 – $1,870 (competitive pay for travel Rad Techs)
• Location: Lansing, MI 48912 — Lansing radiology jobs / Michigan radiology jobs
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: Day shifts, 8 hours (variable start times: 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend
• On-site Position: Work on location at a Level 1 Trauma Center

Radiology Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) experience; Level 1 Trauma experience required
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification required
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Proof of high school education required
• EPIC charting experience preferred (training provided during orientation)
• Surgery experience preferred
• Ability to work every third weekend

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic X-ray exams (portable and fixed) for the Emergency Department and inpatient units in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma setting
• Operate radiologic equipment safely and follow radiation safety protocols to ensure patient and staff protection
• Provide timely, high-quality trauma radiography and collaborate with ED providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and document exams using the EPIC charting system
• Adhere to hospital policies, compliance standards, and departmental protocols
• Participate in orientation, complete required modules prior to start, and engage in ongoing learning opportunities
