Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Location: Beachwood, Ohio (44122) — Cleveland area
- Setting: High-volume Emergency Department (38 beds + fast track, behavioral health, trauma/resuscitation)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) — Night shift ER RN / Travel Nurse role
- Hours per Week: 36
- Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Type: Travel / Travel RN
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience (ED RN / ER RN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- Experience caring for pediatric patients (pediatric emergency nursing)
- Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
- Required health screenings and immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza, Physical/Health Statement, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Successful completion of skills checklist and competency exams
- Background check and fingerprinting
- Driver's License / State ID
- Preferred: BLS required; ACLS and PALS certifications are a plus for trauma and pediatric emergency care
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Department (Emergency Room / ED)
- Assess, triage, and treat patients of all ages, including pediatric patients and adults
- Respond to high-acuity situations, including trauma/resuscitation and behavioral health emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, paramedics, social work, behavioral health) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and adhere to hospital protocols
- Participate in ongoing education, skills validation, and competency reassessment
