• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience (critical care nurse experience required)
• Active RN license (Florida RN or multistate Compact RN license accepted)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• AHCA clearance required for Florida placements
• Ability to secure housing within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance (facility address required)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and EMR documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU (critical care nursing duties)
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using electronic medical records
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage life-support equipment (ventilators, infusion pumps, hemodynamic monitoring)
• Respond to codes and emergency situations as part of a multidisciplinary critical care team
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other clinicians to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge needs, and follow-up
• Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements
