Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – 12-week assignment in Saint Croix Falls, WI; EPIC charting experience and 2+ years Med/Surg clinical experience required. Assignment Details

• Position Type: Travel Nurse, Medical-Surgical RN (Acute Care)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Location: Saint Croix Falls, WI 54024 — Wisconsin travel nursing opportunity
• Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (April 3, 2026 – June 26, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am) with weekend flexibility
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed 30 hours/week)
• Care Setting: Acute Medical-Surgical Unit; adult Med/Surg population
• Charting System: EPIC (electronic health record experience preferred)
• Scrub Color: Navy blue (not provided)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience (experience at smaller facilities preferred)
• Ability to independently read, interpret, and chart telemetry strips (Spacelab monitors)
• Active RN license (Wisconsin or compact nursing license)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred; able to adapt quickly with minimal orientation (1 shift provided)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult Med/Surg patients with diverse diagnoses including surgical, orthopedic, COPD, CHF, diabetes, sepsis, dementia, cellulitis, AMS, pneumonia, SBO, COVID, influenza, and more
• Manage typical night nurse-patient ratios of 1:5 (may flex depending on staffing)
• Monitor, read, interpret, and document telemetry strips and cardiac rhythms
• Titrate heparin drips per established protocol as needed
• Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive acute care
• Support respiratory interventions and utilize RT equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen (remote RT support at night)
• Adhere to department dress code and participate in scheduled weekend and holiday coverage
