• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,830 – $3,040

• Setting: Hospital – Cardiac Services, Interventional Radiology (IR), Imaging Department
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (40 hours/week)

Required Qualifications – Radiologic Technologist / RT(R)

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)), including interventional radiology (IR) experience
• ARRT Certification (RT(R)) required
• Valid Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA
• Comfortable scrubbing and panning simultaneously during IR cases
• Experience with common IR procedures: kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, central lines, ports, fistulograms, IVC filters, nephrostomy tubes, peripheral leg cases, coil embolization, thoracentesis/paracentesis
• CT-supported IR procedures (cryos, biopsies, drains) preferred
• AAA intervention and Neuro IR (strokes, embolization) experience preferred but not required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities – Interventional Radiology Technologist

• Perform a variety of image-guided interventional radiology procedures for adult patients in a busy cardiac services department
• Operate Siemens and GE imaging equipment, MedRad injectors, and other advanced imaging technology
• Assist with sterile technique, instrument handling, and procedure setup; comfortable scrubbing and panning simultaneously
• Provide high-quality patient care and safety for a department averaging 40–50 patients per day
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including lead techs, coordinators, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and CNAs
• Assist with charging/coding documentation for IR procedures as needed
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations (General IR and Neuro IR based on experience); respond to call within 30 minutes
• Complete orientation with a preceptor and demonstrate proficiency in department-specific procedures
