- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,830 – $3,040

- Setting: Hospital – Cardiac Services, Interventional Radiology (IR), Imaging Department
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts (40 hours/week)
- Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist / Travel RT (On-site)
- Facility: Level III Trauma Center, Magnet-designated hospital

Required Qualifications – Radiologic Technologist / RT(R)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)), including interventional radiology (IR) experience
- ARRT Certification (RT(R)) required
- Valid Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA
- Comfortable scrubbing and panning simultaneously during IR cases
- Experience with common IR procedures: kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, central lines, ports, fistulograms, IVC filters, nephrostomy tubes, peripheral leg cases, coil embolization, thoracentesis/paracentesis
- CT-supported IR procedures (cryos, biopsies, drains) preferred
- AAA intervention and Neuro IR (strokes, embolization) experience preferred but not required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities – Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Perform a variety of image-guided interventional radiology procedures for adult patients in a busy cardiac services department
- Operate Siemens and GE imaging equipment, MedRad injectors, and other advanced imaging technology
- Assist with sterile technique, instrument handling, and procedure setup; comfortable scrubbing and panning simultaneously
- Provide high-quality patient care and safety for a department averaging 40–50 patients per day
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including lead techs, coordinators, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and CNAs
- Assist with charging/coding documentation for IR procedures as needed
- Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations (General IR and Neuro IR based on experience); respond to call within 30 minutes
- Complete orientation with a preceptor and demonstrate proficiency in department-specific procedures
