• Position: Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) / Travel Nurse / Telemetry Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010
• Location: Morrisville, VT (05661) — Vermont travel nursing, VT nursing jobs
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
• Shift: 12-hour rotating (Days / Varied)
• Employment Type: Travel, On-site

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (must be valid for Vermont or compact state where applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Stepdown, telemetry, or related acute care experience
• Current ACLS and BLS; PALS or ENPC required (active prior to contract start or course booked at orientation)
• Completion of de-escalation training (active or booked prior to assignment start)
• Compliance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and facility policies

Key Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, direct patient care in the Cardiac Stepdown/telemetry unit
• Use the Nursing Process within Department and Specialty standards to plan and deliver care
• Monitor, assess, and respond to patient conditions in a telemetry and stepdown setting
• Assume leadership duties including delegation and oversight of other clinical staff as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiology, case management, respiratory therapy) to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards
