• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 – $2,480
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in Mother/Baby, Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum, or Nursery units — Mother/Baby nurse experience preferred
• Comfortable providing newborn care, postpartum assessments, and patient education
• Ability to float to other units and care for overflow from the Progressive Care Unit as needed
• Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit
• Willingness to attend quarterly department education sessions

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality mother/baby nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
• Perform newborn assessments, monitor maternal and neonatal conditions, and administer medications safely
• Deliver patient and family education on postpartum care, breastfeeding support, and newborn care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Float to other units and assist with Progressive Care Unit overflow when required
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
