Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Location: Baker, MT 59313 (Baker, Montana; southeastern Montana)
• Facility: Critical Access Hospital (25 beds, 2 ER bays)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 15, 2026 – September 14, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (17:45 – 06:15), 3–4 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse job

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital or rural emergency setting
• Strong communication, triage, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to Emergency Room and acute care patients
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interprofessional staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and clinical changes
• Support long-term care residents and acute care units as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean environment in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
