• Setting: Medical ICU (MICU) / Intensive Care Unit
• Position Type: Travel Nurse (Travel Contract)
• Contract Dates: April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026 (13 weeks)
• Shift: Night shift; 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650 (competitive pay for critical care RNs)
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Site: Yes

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Critical Care / ICU experience required prior to travel assignments (Critical Care RN, ICU nurse)
• Active and permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission (Ohio RN required for Cleveland assignments)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (NIHSS preferred)
• Ability to float to all three ICUs and Emergency Departments for holds as needed
• At least two recent professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in ICU specialty (Charge RN references accepted)
• COVID-19 and seasonal Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Medical ICU (MICU)
• Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient status, interventions, and progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social work) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Float to other ICU units and Emergency Departments as required to support patient flow
• Respond to emergencies and deliver advanced life support interventions as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards; demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
