• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nurse (Perioperative / Surgical Nursing)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Location: Winfield, AL (35594) — Alabama travel nursing job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 6, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (6:30am – 3:00pm), 5 days/week, every other weekend
• Hours: 40 hours/week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative / surgical nursing)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be on file at time of submission)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Circulator and recovery (PACU/post-anesthesia care) experience required
• Ability to float to other units within competencies
• Proficiency with Epic EMR for documentation
• Must pass Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm strip) tests with a score of 80% or higher
• Complete availability and flexibility with scheduling; compliance documents due 7 days before start date

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative patient care in the Operating Room as a circulator and in recovery/PACU
• Support and collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control and facility protocols
• Accurately document perioperative care and patient status using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as required within competencies
• Demonstrate flexibility, professional communication, and commitment to the travel nursing assignment
