Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 - $2,890
• Location: South Charleston, WV 25309 — West Virginia travel nursing job
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Setting: Acute Care – Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology
• Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week; up to 7 days of call per schedule; 1-2 late shifts; weekends and holidays in rotation
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: April 3, 2026
• Charting System: EPIC

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RN license (West Virginia or compact) — Cath Lab Registered Nurse / Travel RN
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience (scrub experience required)
• Familiarity with Siemens equipment and software preferred
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Strong sterile technique and procedural skills for interventional cardiology and vascular procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Provide circulating and sedation care and complete documentation for cardiac cath lab procedures (EPIC charting)
• Assist with diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI (angioplasty/stenting), IABP, Impella support, temporary pacemaker placement, and other cardiac assist devices
• Support and assist with TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters, Infusaports, Permacaths, and vascular procedures
• Maintain strict sterile technique and assist physicians during procedures as a peri-procedural Cath Lab RN
• Participate in rotational call, late shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Radiology Techs and Cardiologists to deliver high-quality cardiovascular patient care
• Complete required orientation and ongoing competency training
