Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 - $1,820
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Travel Radiologic Technologist)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift: 10 Hour Nights (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM) — night shift radiology job
- Setting: Main Hospital, Imaging/X-Ray Unit (343-bed hospital)
- Equipment: GE Portables, GE C-Arms, Philips rooms
- Location: Lenexa, KS — Johnson County, Kansas City metro
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
Job Requirements
- ARRT certification required (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist / Rad Tech
- Operating Room imaging experience preferred
- Comfortable working night shift and adapting to a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills; reliable documentation practices
- Eligible for travel healthcare assignments and able to comply with facility policies
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using GE Portables, GE C-Arms, and Philips equipment
- Provide imaging support for Operating Room procedures and intraoperative imaging needs
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during X-ray and fluoroscopic procedures
- Maintain accurate records, imaging documentation, and PACS/image transfer procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care
- Follow hospital protocols, radiation safety, and dress code requirements
