- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (5/4/2026 – 8/3/2026)
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Shift: Day/Evening rotating (combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts to equal 40 hours/week); call and weekends as needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,060 – $2,210
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Surgical Tech / Surgical Technologist in a hospital operating room or perioperative setting
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required
- Proficient in circulating and scrubbing; experienced scrub tech for complex cases
- EPIC electronic charting experience required (EPIC OR documentation)
- Demonstrated expertise in all of the following service lines: robotic surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, and ENT
- Experience across multiple specialties including ENT/Plastics (flaps/microvascular), endoscopic procedures (Bronch/EGD/EBUS/LS), neuro (craniotomy/EEA/skull base), thoracic, and robotics
- Influenza (flu) vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality surgical support in a fast-paced hospital operating room and perioperative environment
- Perform circulating and scrubbing duties for a variety of complex procedures, including robotic and neurosurgical cases
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records using EPIC electronic medical records
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Be prepared to scrub a wide range of services: Surgical Oncology, Thoracic, Colorectal, Urology, GYN Oncology, Head & Neck/ENT, Neuro, Ortho, Plastics/Reconstructive, and Robotics
- Participate in call and weekend coverage as required for the travel assignment
Ohio Fingerprinting Compliance – Required for All Travel Surgical Tech Assignments
