Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Albany, OR | 13-week assignment. Oregon RN license, BLS & ACLS required. Join our critical care team and advance your travel nursing career in the Willamette Valley.
Location & Assignment Overview
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse / Critical Care RN (Travel Nurse)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 2, 2026 – July 2, 2026)
- Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Unit (CCU) — hospital-based
- Location: Albany, Oregon (97321) — Willamette Valley, Pacific Northwest
- Shifts: 12-hour days (07:00 – 19:30), rotating weekends
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110 – $2,220 (competitive pay for travel ICU nurses)
- Employment Type: Travel (short-term contract nursing job)
Key Qualifications (ICU Nurse Requirements)
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license (required upon submission)
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS (required)
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications (required)
- PALS and TNCC certifications (preferred)
- At least 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred (critical care nursing experience)
- Experience with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive infusions preferred
Primary Responsibilities — ICU / Critical Care RN
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU setting
- Monitor, assess, and intervene for patients with complex and high-risk conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy) to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making in a fast-paced hospital ICU
- Perform bedside procedures and manage life-support equipment according to hospital protocols
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record per hospital standards
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts and support continuity of care across the unit
