• Location: Mount Olive, NC 28365 (Wayne County) — Inpatient Physical Therapy
• Assignment Type: Travel (13-week assignment)
• Setting: Inpatient / Rehabilitation
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• End Date: July 6, 2026
• Shift: 8 Hour Days; 8-hour days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
• Total Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,350 – $1,460

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or certification valid in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience; inpatient or acute care experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills; EMR experience a plus
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (PT, OT, nursing, case management)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized patient care plans in an inpatient setting
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and other interventions to support patient recovery
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress and responses to therapy
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques
• Maintain patient safety, infection control standards, and a supportive rehabilitation environment
