• Shift: 7am–5pm, Tue / Thu / Sat (10-hour shifts, no call)
• Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours/week
• Setting: 900-bed hospital — hospital radiology, diagnostic imaging
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 – $2,140

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech)
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Valid NJ State RT License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience working with GE imaging equipment or similar systems
• Comfortable working independently and providing imaging support in the OR
• Strong knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Excellent oral and written communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging (radiography) in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment to ensure safe, high-quality images
• Position patients accurately and assess physical/physiological comfort during procedures
• Provide intraoperative imaging support in the OR when required
• Monitor imaging workflow, coordinate daily procedures, and communicate changes with the care team
• Demonstrate initiative, analytical problem-solving, and effective teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
• Adhere to radiation safety principles (ALARA) and hospital safety protocols
• Stay current with advances in diagnostic imaging and healthcare informatics
• Other duties as assigned to support hospital radiology operations
