• Setting: Swing Bed Med/Surg Unit (rehab beds for wound care, PT, IV therapy)
• Shift: 12-hour shifts; nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — LPN night shift
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,010 – $1,060 (competitive travel LPN pay)

Job Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license (must be eligible to practice in Alabama)
• Minimum 1 year of hospital or med/surg clinical experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Long-term care or rehab nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and commit to the full 13-week travel contract

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Med/Surg nursing care to patients in a swing bed/rehab unit
• Perform wound care, administer and monitor IV therapy, and assist with physical therapy plans
• Assess patient status, monitor clinical progress, and document care accurately in the medical chart
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (RN, PT, physicians, and support staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families with compassionate communication and discharge planning as appropriate
