- Hours Per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
- Shift: Rotating shifts (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; must be agreeable to all)
- Weekend Availability: Required
- On-Site: Yes
- Schedule: Posted 4 weeks in advance
- Floating: May float to other sites as needed (never more than one site per day)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology / medical imaging
- Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required at time of submission (Massachusetts radiology license)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Familiarity with OR procedures and adaptable to various vendors' x-ray equipment (C-arm experience a plus)
- Experience imaging all age groups (pediatric to geriatric)
- Flu vaccine required during season
- EMR experience preferred (Epic experience preferred)
- Cannot have worked permanently at any Cambridge facility
- Up-to-date resume and two recent manager/supervisor references in matching specialty
- Completed skills checklist in matching specialty
- Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
Responsibilities
- Perform all diagnostic x-ray imaging including inpatient, outpatient, orthopedic, OR C-arm, fluoroscopy, and portable studies
- Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and maintain patient safety and radiation protection standards
- Float to other sites as needed (never more than one site per day)
- Adapt to varied shift lengths and coverage needs; support rotating schedules
- Deliver radiology services across all age groups with professionalism and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and complete required compliance paperwork
