Job Details
- Location: Honolulu, HI 96817 (Oahu, Hawaii)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (4/27/2026 – 7/27/2026)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 – $2,890 (competitive travel nursing pay; minimum 32 hours/week guaranteed)
- Hours per Week: 40 hours scheduled; minimum 32 hours/week guaranteed
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts with frequent on-call; weekend coverage as needed
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Cath Lab / Cardiac RN)
Required Qualifications
- Active Hawaii RN license (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN or Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current BLS (AHA)
- Comfortable with frequent on-call duties and consecutive weekend coverage
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing
- Assist interventional cardiologists during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional procedures
- Monitor hemodynamic status, manage cardiac monitoring equipment, and respond to procedural emergencies
- Prepare and maintain sterile field, equipment, and supplies for interventional cardiology procedures
- Document patient assessments, procedural details, and post-procedure instructions accurately in the medical record
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage during weekends and holidays as required
