Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180
- Location: Corvallis, Oregon (97330) — near Oregon State University
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/4/2026, End: 8/3/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30); occasional weekends required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel Registered Nurse
- Setting: Emergency Department (ED) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU); acute care environment (ED, PCU, ICU)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience (ED, PCU, ICU); ED RN or PCU RN experience preferred
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
- ACLS certification (required for interventional care)
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (required for moderate complexity testing)
- Ability to work night shift and occasional weekend rotations
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, age-appropriate direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
- Perform rapid triage, patient assessment, and ongoing monitoring in a high-acuity ED setting
- Practice within the scope of the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Support staffing needs of the Progressive Care Unit and ED boarders as needed
- Document care, perform accurate data entry for billing, and log case information into the department's digital archive/EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care for acute and critical patients
