Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience—experience with procedural cardiac patients (TAVR, cath lab) and vascular surgery preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Telemetry certification required
• Ability to work night shifts (12-hour nights)
• Completion of required onboarding credentials and compliance documents (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, Influenza Vaccine, Ohio Fingerprints, Education & Employment Verification, Skills Checklist, Competency Exam, Core Competencies, Drug Screen, Criminal Background Check, Badge Photo, etc.)
• Driver's License / State ID

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to procedural cardiac and vascular surgery patients, including post-procedure monitoring and SDU-level care
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, promptly recognizing and responding to arrhythmias and changes in patient status
• Care for patients following TAVRs, cath lab interventions, carotid and bypass procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams (cardiology, vascular surgery, cath lab staff) to deliver patient-centered care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Participate in unit and hospital quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
