• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 - $1,820
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (Cleveland surgical tech jobs, Ohio travel surgical tech)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 16, 2026)
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (06:45 AM – 03:30 PM), Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Call: 2 weekend call shifts per contract
• Employment Type: Travel (travel surgical technologist, perioperative)
• Setting: Main OR (26 rooms), 7-room inpatient/outpatient unit, Level One Trauma Center

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential required
• At least 1 year of recent experience as a surgical technologist in a hospital/OR setting (perioperative experience preferred)
• Experience with DaVinci XI robotic surgery required (robotics/MIS experience highly valued)
• Ability to scrub posterior eye and eye trauma cases is a plus
• Completion of required onboarding credentials: MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, 2-Step PPD or IGRA, Physical/Health Statement, Ohio Fingerprints, Education & Employment Verification, Skills Checklist, Competency Exam, Core Competencies, Driver's License/State ID, Badge Photo, Criminal Background Check, OIG Search, SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC, Drug Screen, Module Completion Certificate

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures including general, colorectal, gynecology, urology, breast, eye, brachytherapy, plastics, uro-gyn, and robotic cases
• Provide perioperative support and maintain sterile field, instrument counts, and proper instrumentation for each procedure
• Float to the main OR as needed based on staffing and caseload (cross-coverage across OR rooms)
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care in the operating room
• Participate in scheduled weekend call shifts and adapt to a fast-paced, Level One Trauma environment
• Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and adherence to hospital and OR safety protocols
