Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Tennessee license or valid compact RN license preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (medical-surgical nursing)
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Available to work 12-hour day shifts
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical (Med/Surg) unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Med/Surg patients
- Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and report to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed following safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and allied health staff to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record
