• Location: Voorhees, NJ (zip 08043) — travel cardiac sonographer assignment with flexibility to float to Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL campuses
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week (Weekdays: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM; Weekends: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM; every other weekend required)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel | On-site hospital echocardiographer position

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent experience as an Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer (echocardiography experience within the last 12 months)
• Active ARDMS or RDCS certification (required)
• Current BLS (must be valid at time of submission and not expire within 30 days of assignment start)
• All state licenses and national certifications in hand prior to submission
• Experience with charting/EHR systems (any system accepted)
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to float between hospital campuses as staffing needs dictate
• Must be fit tested prior to working on unit and be clean shaven
• First-time travelers accepted (preference given to experienced travelers)

Primary Responsibilities (Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer)

• Perform comprehensive adult echocardiograms: 2-D and 3-D echo, color Doppler, bubble studies, contrast imaging, pharmacologic and treadmill stress echo, and transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE)
• Apply advanced echocardiography techniques including Simpson’s Rule, diastology, LV strain/volume analysis, and proximal isovelocity surface area calculations
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and PACS equipment (GE, Philips, Siemens, Hitachi, Toshiba, SonoSite and others)
• Provide high-quality cardiac imaging in acute care settings including inpatient, emergency department, ICU, and outpatient clinics
• Collaborate with cardiology teams, nursing staff, and other multidisciplinary clinicians to support patient care
• Float to other hospital campuses as needed and participate in orientation modules and required competency testing (including dysrhythmia test)
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and adherence to hospital policies and safety protocols
