• Position: Outpatient Physical Therapist / Travel Physical Therapist (hospital-based outpatient rehab unit, not on main hospital campus)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend / On-call: No weekend or on-call requirement
• Holiday Requirement: Possible
• Float Requirement: May float within scope to like units or sister facilities
• Charting / EMR: Epic (Epic electronic medical record experience preferred)
• Parking: Free

Top Qualifications (must have)

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience (Outpatient PT experience required)
• Travel therapy experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license or Multi-State Compact (PT Compact) license at contract start (pending SC license considered with proof of application)
• BLS certification required
• Must live outside a 60-mile radius (locals not accepted)
• Ability to complete pre-start compliance and online modules (average 4 hours)
• Flu vaccine required (medical or religious exemptions only)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy services to a diverse adult and/or geriatric patient population
• Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, OT, nursing, physicians) to optimize patient outcomes
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and plan of care thoroughly in Epic EMR
• Float to like units or sister facilities within the health system as needed
• Participate in emergency response teams and preparedness activities during hurricane season (June–November)
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and quality standards
